Multiple Dogs?
Ahoy there! Just a quick update on the puppies....They've turned 3 weeks yesterday, all of their eyes are open, their ears are open, & i've put them in a nice spot outside whereas they've been indoors for the last 3 weeks. One question though, the one which is pure white..her eyes are definately gona be blue. Am I gona encounter any problems with her? She has black markings on the inside of both ears tho, which shows she has pigmentation???? Any advice?
Also I really want to find out more about keeping multiple dogs, the link on the site does not work. I currently have 2 pits at home, 1 Male, 6yrs, neutered and 1 Female, 3yrs, (soon to be spayed). I wanna now know if I can keep one of her puppies, and if so, which sex? A lotta people have told me males will compete for dominance...Is this true even if one is neutered.
I have quite a decent space at home for the dogs, plus they walk regularly and are quite otherwise active.
Please Help???

From past personal experience it is easier to keep females together. you won't have a problem for the first year or so with the males, but the younger one will eventuyally challenge the older one. Dogs with a lot of white are generally more sensitive to the sun, especially around the eyes and under the belly.

Went to the Vet yesterday, and she also recommend I keep a female. She also warned about the white pup, said that i'm gona actually have to use sunblock on her.....So i'm probly gona keep her, I really wanted to keep a male tho, cause one of them was not breathing when he was born, so my mom and I gave him CPR until he just pulled a deep breath in and coughed out this huge blood clot...Now he is the biggest puppy and cutest...I named him VIta!
